First gorilla born at Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay turns two!
Baby Bolingo, the Western lowland gorilla, turned two on the November 18 this year and was joined by his mum Kishina for a gorilla-friendly cake and presents in the Myombe Reserve gorilla habitat at Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay.
Bolingo is the first gorilla born at Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay and is an ambassador for the species. These animals are fast becoming one of the most endangered in the world due to habitat loss in the wild, hunting and disease.
The SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Conservation Fund supports five gorilla-related projects in Africa.
